Scott S. Berman M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Berman earned a degeree in chemical engineering from Penn State University before heading to medical school at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. During his residency in general surgery, he also completed a fellowship in surgical research and clinical nutrition. He followed that with a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Berman opened his Tucson practice devoted entirely to the specialty of vascular surgery in 1994 and founded Tucson Vascular Surgery in 1997. Throughout his career, Dr. Berman has actively participated in research and continues to do so with a particular interest in vascular biology, medical database design, and bioengineering. He has published numerous articles on many topics in vascular surgery and is presently completing a textbook on vascular access surgery.
Rhonda C. Quick, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Quick is originally from Cullman, Alabama, and graduated cum laude in biology from Auburn University. Dr. Quick completed her Doctor of Medicine from Wake Forest University and finished her residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center where she held the position of Administrative Chief Resident and was elected into the alpha omega alpha honor society. UKMC is also where Dr. Quick completed her vascular fellowship which was followed with an endovascular fellowship at the Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix.
Dr. Quick has been widely involved in clinical research, with publications in journals such as the General Surgery Board of Review Manual. She has frequently presented at several symposiums and meetings including the General Surgery Grand Rounds and the 25th Annual Meeting of the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery. Dr. Quick has been a welcomed addition to the Tucson Vascular Surgery team and VeinSolutions, joining the practice in January 2004.
